The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) is urging the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to move quickly in adopting reforms that the industry says will significantly improve the integration of wind and other renewable energy resources onto the grid, an effort that is being pushed in the context of a major FERC rulemaking on variable resources that has been pending since last year.
